Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza, an outstanding actress who has created a lasting impression on television. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. In no time she made the move to Texas and pursued her training in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas and moved to Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities that included local independent films and world-wide commercials. Although she only had a few role, De La Garza quickly realized her love for acting. Then she moved to New York and in 2001 she got her first part on the daytime soap drama All My Children as Rosa Santos. Throughout the first decade of 2000 she appeared in minor roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she was selected for her first role in a series on The Mountain which was which was a television show that lasted only a few episodes. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. She portrayed A.D.A. in Law & Order in which the most memorable scene was that of 2005. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. The character later re-entered the spin-off show that lasted only a few episodes Law & Order: LA. Her character was a hit and earned De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television through the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded De La Garza the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in the drama TV series. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring character in CSI Miami. Her role was Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent work on TV was on NBC's more dark drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are from Italian heritage and is the younger sister of Cory who is ten years older than her. Milano was raised in one of the most religious, conservative families. Milano began her acting career when she was seven years old. She was accompanied by her babysitter along to an audition. Of more than a thousand applicants her name was picked for the audition as one of four. Milano is featured in TV advertisements, off-Broadway productions and the American debut of Jane Eyre.
